LYSAMINE® CWS soluble pea protein for milk replacer formulation
LYSAMINE® CWS is a soluble protein concentrate extracted from pea and is used as an alternative to milk proteins for the formulation of milk replacers for young animals.
Its nutritional advantages are multiple:
- High protein concentration: 83 % min./DM (N x 6.25)
- Excellent digestibility and palatability
- Very good tolerance due to its low complex polysaccharide content
- Absence of anti-nutritional factors
Also because of the spray-drying process used to manufacture LYSAMINE® CWS, it offers technological benefits to feed formulations

A protein source for calf milk replacer
Calf Milk Replacer
Highly digestible and free of complex polysaccharides, LYSAMINE® CWS is an excellent protein source for calf nutrition.
This spray-dried protein also presents a good wettability and is easily dispersible in water.
- Particles > 315 µm: approx. 5%
In milk replacers, LYSAMINE® CWS can be incorporated up to 5-10%.
Special attention must be paid to the iron content in the finishing phase for veal calves.
